Lee trades country ballads for show tunes in the next standalone book of her M/M series, Roadmap to Your Heart.
After licking his wounds from a painful relationship, Tate Sullivan is ready to move back home. He picks up where he left off as drag queen extraordinaire Frieda Love in a West Village bar in New York City. He doesn’t expect to be drawn to the mysterious man with the dark eyes who shows up to every single performance—flirtatiously eyeing Tate one second and disappearing on him the next. Why mess around with a guy who is clearly giving him mixed signals?
Sebastian Clark is on a mission the first night he shows up at Ruby Redd’s. He doesn’t anticipate his plan being flipped on its head by the charismatic drag queen and even more so by the mesmerizing man beneath the makeup. But the more he learns about the vibrant and brash Tate Sullivan the more intrigued he becomes. So he pushes aside his guilt about why he sought out the bar in the first place in order to get to know the guy behind the stilettos.
They’re opposites on many levels, but as Tate spends time volunteering with Sebastian at the shelter, he begins to feel good about himself in ways he hadn’t before. For Sebastian, Tate represents a sense of fun and freedom that is completely fresh and invigorating. Before they know it, their easy companionship catches fire, and Sebastian is kissing a man for the first time, while Tate is opening his heart to new possibilities. But Sebastian is still keeping a secret, and Tate will have to decide if he can trust again, or if the betrayal he feels from Sebastian’s confession is too much to overcome.
Here's the reading order of this series

The Hardest Fall Roadmap to Your Heart Book 3 edition by Christina Lee Literature Fiction eBooks
The Hardest Fall is one of those books that manages to perfectly balance sweet and sexy and angsty. Both Tate and Sebastian are likable characters that you will root for from the get go. This is definitely a case of opposites attract and I loved that dynamic between the two. While I enjoyed The Hardest Fall overall, it wasn’t my favorite of the series. A big aspect of the story is this secret between Sebastian and Tate. This is always a tough sell for me in books and it kinda drove me nuts in this one. The secret keeping just dragged on forever. There were a million chances to get the secret out in the open, but somehow they always got distracted by something they should not be distracted by. It was even tougher for me because it was the kind of secret that could have easily been discussed without trouble early on but wasn’t. It’s just tough for the reader to know the secret, and watch the character continue to not spill. If I was also unaware of the secret it might have worked better, but because I as the reader was in on it, well it was a slow wait to finally have it all out in the open.
Other than the secret keeping though I did enjoy the book. I loved Tate and Sebastian together and they had great chemistry. I also loved the NYC setting. Christina Lee did the setting well. I live in NYC and so many times it is clear the author has no clue what it is really like living in the city, but I never felt like that with this book. She really captured the setting and vibe well.
Overall The Hardest Fall is a good read and if you’re already a fan of this series you don’t want to miss this story. It was nice seeing Dean and Callum briefly and it was nice getting to know Tate better. He is so funny and witty, but he also has a soft and vulnerable side. All in all a good read.

The Hardest Fall Roadmap to Your Heart Book 3 edition by Christina Lee Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I've read all three books in this series and each one dealt with completely different storylines yet had similar themes wherein one or both MCs were hesitant to commit. Vaughn and Smoke were involved in a motorcycle club. Dean was finishing a master's degree and Callum was helping run his family's hunting preserve. Tate was a drag queen and Sebastian owned a shoe/leather repair shop.
You can see by the above descriptions of the main characters how diverse the three storylines are. All three stories were very well written and all the characters were engaging. Their personalities were drawn with fine attention to detail and fit perfectly into the settings of their storyline.
Christina Lee is a talented author and captures the reader thoroughly into the lives of her characters.
I recommend all three of these well written love stories and hope there are more to come in this series.
I love how we get to see Tate's story! In the beginning of this book, Dean and Callum are visiting Tate who has moved to NYC. Tate performs as a drag queen a few nights a week, and that is where he encounters Sebastian Clark. Sebastian has come looking for Tate in order to deliver an envelope of pictures and emails from Alan. Alan was Tate's former lover, and he was the childhood friend of Sebastian. Sebastian planned to deliver the envelope and then forget about how disappointed he felt over Alan cheating on his wife while he was alive.
Best laid plans, as they say....Sebastian is intrigued with Tate. He is mesmerized by Tate as Frieda Love.
Tate has had his heart broken and he's on the road to healing. He doesn't want to feel drawn to a straight boy like Sebastian. But when he learns about Sebastian's volunteer work with homeless people, Tate is even more drawn to this man.
And so the story progesses, as these two get to know each other and like each other more and more. We are treated to watching Tate's brand new You Tube career be launched and subsequently thrive. There are all kinds of sweet moments in this book. And of course, we have a lovely HEA, just as we expected.
This is the third book in this series, but you do not have to read the books in order.
I love M/M books, but I am new to the effeminate/genderfluid reads within the genre with this one being only my second one but can I just say I think I have found my new addiction.
I absolutely loved that Tate was firm in his self and his self confidence just oozed off the page, making you believe you were as fierce as he was. Freida Love his Drag Queen Alter ego was also a force to be reckoned with and I just loved everything she portrayed.
Sebastian was an absolute doll, from the very first second we met him, you just knew he was gonna be one of those Hero's that you fall in love with and hope to never have to say goodbye.
I enjoyed how their friendship turned into something more, both of them discovering something new about each other along the way. The whole YouTube tutorials and Feeding the homeless plus clothing them was interesting subplots to go along with the romance.
Whilst I really enjoyed the book, I think after the first angst breakdown of the relationship, when they again to go on and have a misunderstanding - I feel like the wrong MC apologized.. said MC didn't do anything wrong, just was himself and the other one blew it all outta proportion so I would of preferred to see him grovel seeing as MC #1 had already proved how sorry he was with the prior problem. {Riddles much LOL}
A good continuation of the series, I do really hope we get more.
